Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 3, 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how CEOKnow (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services. It applies to all users of our platform. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to being transparent about our practices.

Information we collect

We may collect information that you provide directly to us, including:

  • Account and profile information (such as name, email address, and password)
  • Information you submit when using our services (e.g., tasks, notes, calendar events, or other content)
  • Communications you send to us (e.g., support requests)

We may also automatically collect certain usage and device information, such as how you interact with our services, IP address, browser type, and general log data necessary to operate and secure our platform.

Google User Data

If you choose to connect your Google account to CEOKnow, we access certain information from Google APIs to provide our services. We strictly adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy.

Data Accessed

Depending on the permissions you grant, we may access:

  • Google Account Info: Your email address, name, and profile picture (via userinfo.email and userinfo.profile scopes) to authenticate you and create your user profile.
  • Google Calendar Data: Your calendars and calendar events (via the calendar scope) to display your schedule within our dashboard and sync tasks or events between CEOKnow and Google Calendar.

Data Usage

We use this Google user data solely to:

  • Authenticate your identity and manage your session.
  • Provide calendar integration features, such as viewing your agenda and scheduling tasks directly from our platform.
  • Keep your CEOKnow workspace synchronized with your Google Calendar.

Data Sharing

We do not sell Google user data. We do not use Google user data for advertising. We do not share Google user data with third-party AI tools to train generalized foundation models.

We only share Google user data when necessary to operate the service, such as with infrastructure providers (for example, secure hosting and database services) acting on our behalf under contractual obligations, when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or with your explicit consent.

Data Storage & Protection

Google user data is protected using industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encryption at rest where available, access controls, and secure handling of authentication credentials and OAuth tokens.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain Google user data only as long as needed to provide user-facing features you request (such as calendar sync) or as required by law. If you disconnect Google Calendar, revoke access, or delete your account, we stop using that data and delete it from active systems according to our retention processes.

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing daveconklin@gmail.com. You can also revoke CEOKnow's Google access in Google Security settings.

Limited Use Disclosure

CEOKnow's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services; to authenticate you and manage your account; to respond to your requests and support needs; to protect the security and integrity of our platform; and to comply with applicable laws and regulations. We may also use information in an aggregated or de-identified form for analytics and product improvement.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information or Google user data. We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes. We do not share Google user data with third-party AI tools for training generalized foundation models.

We do not transfer or disclose Google user data to third parties except: (1) to service providers that help us operate our platform (such as hosting providers, database services, and email delivery services), solely for the purpose of providing and improving our service; these providers are contractually required to protect your data and not use it for their own purposes; (2) when required by law; (3) to protect our rights or safety; or (4) with your consent.

We may also disclose other information (not Google user data) as described above when required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or with your consent.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your information, including Google user data, only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We do not retain Google user data longer than necessary for these purposes unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

Account Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below or using the deletion features within your account settings (if available). Upon deletion, we will remove your personal information and Google user data from our active databases, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain records. For help managing or deleting your data, see your account settings or contact us using the information below.

Revoking Access: You can revoke CEOKnow's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Security settings.

Data Storage and Protection

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data. This includes encryption of data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest (using secure database encryption). Authentication tokens (such as OAuth tokens) are stored securely and encrypted.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights or ask questions about your data, please contact us using the information below.

Cookies and similar technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to operate our services (for example, to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences). You can adjust your browser settings to limit or block cookies, though some features may not work correctly if you do so.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
